Sophie's choice

CofW.jpg

Hello! magazine isn't on my regular reading list, but I've just been shown a copy of the current issue.

The recent Farmers Weekly Awards, which I've referred to before, gets a mention because the Countess of Wessex was there in her capacity as president of the Royal Agricultural Society of England.

Now I know I've gone a bit celebrity-mad recently on this blog, what with the Madonna and Jordan stuff and the game recipes, but I thought it might be interesting to share an extract from Hello!

Under the headline 'Countess of Wessex finally puts her feet up as she gets ready for baby number two', it explained how it was her last official engagement before having the baby.

It said how she was "glowing with health" and "warding off the evening chill with a Ralph Lauren pashmina over her blue cocktail dress".

Funnily enough, what she was wearing wasn't something I really covered in our video of the night.

What the hell is a pashmina anyway?
