I was only talking recently, wasn't I, about 1970s tv shows - and guess who someone's just sent me an email about? Pam Ayres.
I used to hate the woman. Don't get me wrong, I never met her and I had absolutely no reason to, but as a small boy it wasn't really my thing: poetry.
Anyway, Field Day reader Tessa Gates tells me she was on Saturday Live on Radio 4 over the weekend explaining how she comes from a farming family and keeps (and enjoys eating!) her own cattle.
I'm almost tempted to pen a few lines of poetry. Or maybe not...
