We like bridges here.
After the interest generated by the Peak District bridge, here's another one.
This is in Bickleigh in Devon and the picture was taken by my friend Jean who's been staying there.
The bridge has one big claim to fame.
Some of the locals maintain that it was this that inspired Paul Simon, when he was visiting the village, to write the song Bridge Over Troubled Water.
Now I know this isn't very rock and roll - and it's certainly not the sort of thing a prospective Groucho-goer like myself might typically make - but I once saw Paul Simon in concert.
