Wow, how exciting. I’ve just been given the opportunity to go and interview John Torode from Masterchef.

John runs the Smiths of Smithfield restaurant in London so I’m going there to meet him tomorrow.

He’s just taken up a role with a leading agricultural organisation – hence why I’m talking to him. Will give you all the details tomorrow, but if you’ve got any particular questions you’d like me to ask him, let me know.

Here also is an interview with John that appeared recently on Caterer and Hotelkeeper's website.

In the meantime, I better bone up on my cookery skills. I’ve got a lot to learn in a very short time…

Yes! I'd love to know how he defines the true difference between a good chef and a good cook - what makes a pro a pro.

I'll ask him that Mopsa. Hopefully over a nice meal!

You lucky boy.

Ask him what they have against rissotto on Masterchef.."put it in a pot and stir...?"..also ask him why they blatantly picked the wrong person to win in both 2006 and 2007.

Tell him to slap Greg on the head, like the little man in Benny Hill..
