Four evenings of unmissable television kicked off last night. Yes, it's that time of year again: it's Crufts.
The highlights of last night were:
1. Those great Akitas (they'll certainly make my friend Chrissie happy).
2. Rumours of a betting scandal. It appears William Hill suspended betting on which breed would take the coveted 'Best in Show' prize after a rush of bets on the utility dog category.
3. Ben Fogle. Bumbling, Boris Johnson-like and hilarious.
4. The Friends for Life competition (come on Connie!)
5. The synchronized Golden Retrievers.
And three things I didn't like:
1. Small dogs that look like bats.
2. That coach that came down from Scotland full of people all with their small dogs. Bet it smelt worse than a National Express coach full of students.
3. Any dogs without fur. Those bald/shaved ones give me the shivers.

Whatever happened to cats are better than dogs?
Good grief! This blog is going to the dogs...see what I did there...?
A Cat Fan (although, to be honest, dogs are ok too - just a bit thick)
