This is the sort of thing I was envisaging.
Sadly, it didn't happen that way.
Yesterday was the NFU's fishing day on Rutland Water. It was a great day. I drew a complete blank, though, so obviously I'm blaming my lack of local knowledge. Hence also why I'm having to resort to publishing a picture of someone else with a fish.
My fishing buddie, Phil (pictured below), didn't catch anything either, which made things slightly better.
