Countryside Days

Countryside_Days_jpg.jpg

The Great Yorkshire Showground isn't just hosting The Great Lorenzo.

Thousands of schoolchildren will be given a taste of the outdoors at the Yorkshire Agricultural Society's annual Countryside Days event.

The Harrogate venue will play host to youngsters from 110 schools on June 11 and 12.

More than 5,000 children will take part in the activities - the largest number since the event was launched seven years ago. Over the two days, Key Stage 2 children will be given the chance to experience rural life and try their hand at both traditional and modern countryside skills.

And here's a photo of some kids at last year's event with a ferret. And yuo know I like a ferret.
