What's sauce for the goose

WHT stamp 2008.jpg

Now this is nice.

It's artwork by the renowned wildlife artist Julian Novorol and it'll be used on the Wildlife Habitat Trust stamp, called 'Flying pinkfeet at Faxfleet'.

The stamp will be launched at the CLA Game Fair at Blenheim Palace on Friday 25 July by Dr Stuart Burgess, Rural Advocate and Chairman for the Commission for Rural Communities.

The stamp features pink-footed geese flying at the point where the Ouse and Trent rivers join to become the Humber.

The 2008 stamp artwork will be on display on WHT section of the BASC stand, and stamps, limited edition prints and related merchandise will all be on sale throughout the fair.

Julian Novorol will be working on stand throughout the fair, as will the 2009 stamp artist Peter Partington.
