Field Day readers may already be familiar with artist Mike Jory – his work focuses mainly on animals and landscapes.
Mike’s got in touch to tell us about an online exhibition of paintings to raise funds for the charity Migraine Action.
Mike has suffered from chronic migraine for 20 years but finds painting constantly rewarding. “One of the great things about art is that you can do a painting in stages, so it is an activity which one can fit around migraine attacks,” he says.
Mike exhibits in galleries across the South West of England, in London galleries and his images are in private collections around the world.
The exhibition includes original paintings, drawings and high quality giclee prints. Gift prices start at a couple of pounds, with the most expensive original paintings selling for £1500 so there should be something for everyone!
The exhibition runs from May 1 to June 30 on Mike’s website.
