Goodness, gracious, great balls of wool

Iconic Knightsbridge department store Harvey Nichols has been been given a special makeover in honour of Wool Week.

Check out the size of the knitting needles on this:

The wool for the installation was donated by international wool supplier H. Dawson Wool, who are based in Bradford.

They specially treated and dyed the yarn to make sure it was waterproof, so there’s no risk of it turning into a soggy ball of wool if (or should that be when) the heavens open.

The masterpiece was unveiled on Monday 15 October and will remain wrapped around Harvey Nichols’ flagship London store for the duration of Wool Week.
