With better grain prices, including a T2 strobilurin can pay in more ways than one. There is the yield from its "strobilurin greening" plus the yield boost from controlling rusts. So much so, Amistar Opti produced an extra 0.8 t/ha over a triazole-based T2 in trials last season, providing £120 extra return at £150/t.

Amistar Opti not only provides the broad spectrum protection of Amistar, but combines this with the reassurance of Bravo against Septoria tritici. So you protect against the main foliar diseases of brown rust, yellow rust and septoria, while maintaining crop greening.

Plus it offers other benefits:

+ Long-lasting protection compared with triazoles alone.
+ Protection of new growth - thanks to systemic movement - helping maintain performance even at low water volumes.
+ Reduction in take-all symptoms, vital in second wheat.
+ Reduction in crop stress symptoms.
+ Time savings from less mixing and fewer cans to rinse, with the convenience of a single pack.

Amistar (MAPP 10443) contains azoxystrobin.
Amistar Opti (MAPP 12515) contains azoxystrobin and chlorothalonil.
Bravo (MAPP 10518) contains chlorothalonil.
Always read the label. Use pesticides safely.
