A campaign to raise farmers’ awareness of climate change has been launched by leading farming organisations.

The year-long project, run jointly with the NFU, Country Land and Business Association, Applied Research Forum and Forum for the Future, will inform farmers about the challenges and opportunities climate change presents.

Peter Kendall, NFU president, said the partnership hoped to make farmers aware of the differences they could make to the challenge of climate change.

The project, which received funding of £171,506, will be launched at the Oxford Farming Conference on 3 January.
