The retirement of the tenant prompts the sale of Ingthorpe Farm, Rutland, in three lots. West of Stamford and the A1, the 179ha (442-acre) holding is all arable but for 20 acres of grassland. It has a five-bedroom house and one of the lots includes an airstrip.
“It’s very rare for a good commercial farm of this size to come to the market in Rutland,” said Strutt & Parker’s Will Parry. There is a decent range of modern buildings at Ingthorpe, including 400t of grain storage and the farm has recently entered an HLS agreement.
The land is grade 3, growing combinable crops, and the guide price is expected to be in the region of £3.3m. (Strutt & Parker 01858 433 123)
