Devon pastureland

Stags put just under 75 acres of Grade 3/4 pastureland at Exbourne (below), Okehampton, Devon, under the hammer last week and made 303,000 (4046/acre).

Agent Alex Rew said five lots totalling 70 acres went to a non-farmer with a farmer paying 26,000 for the remaining 4.8-acre field.

None of the land included any entitlement to the single farm payment.
