Grazing land on Dartmoor

Farm agency Stags says livestock farmers searching for sheltered, free-draining land on Dartmoor may be interested in the 59 acres at Lydford.

The land is divided into eight enclosures within the National Park in Devon, and includes a general purpose barn.

Access is provided via two tracks and the land is well fenced with mains water supplying troughs in each field.

The land is for sale as a whole with a guide price of £465,000. (Stags 01566 771 808)

Arable land at £33,750/acre

A 200-acre arable farm in Gloucestershire is on the market for £33,750/acre (£6.75m overall) because it is likely to be of interest to developers in the future.

Homelands Farm lies between the expanding settlement of Bishops Cleeve and adjoins the village of Gotherington. It is predominantly arable operation with some pasture.

Humberts director Charles Lucas said further development of Bishops Cleeve was anticipated and that the sale should be viewed as an investment opportunity.

The farm is let under a farm business tenancy which is up for review in September. (Humberts 01672 519 111)

Small Northants vineyard

A rare opportunity to buy a 10-acre block of land with well-established grape vines has come up near Brixworth in Northamptonshire.

The vines cover 2.5 acres of the land and produced 10t of fruit in 2014.

The balance of the acreage is permanent pasture. There is also a small timber-framed building and a 180sq m steel structure.

No BPS entitlements are included and the land is available as a whole at a guide price of £225,000. (Berrys 01536 412 464)
