There are only a few days left to enter the 2007 Farmers Weekly Awards – the closing date is Monday (21 May).
This is a great opportunity for farmers to have their achievements, and those of their team, recognised.
It’s also an opportunity to join nearly 1000 guests at the Awards Night – the best night in the farming calendar – by booking a table on 31 October in London.
“And importantly, why should the general public believe that UK farmers are crucial to their communities and countryside unless you put your own achievements and innovations forward?” says awards director Debbie Beaton.
“Cast your modesty aside and get the recognition you deserve for meeting the enormous challenges that have faced this industry in the past few years.
” Having a judging panel containing some of the finest advisors in the country on your farm is a privilege that finalists really enjoy. The accolade of being a winner can deliver big benefits to you and your business,” adds Ms Beaton.
There are 12 categories reflecting the spread of farming businesses – from arable to beef, countryside to contractor, young to farm manager.
Let us know what impact –and changes – you have made to your business in the past few years in order manage the challenges of the market, environment and legislation.
