The Evans family from Llanrhaeadr in North Wales are getting an unlikely visitor to the farm today – composer and musical impresario Andrew Lloyd Webber.

Myfyr and Sue Evans are well-known for their Rhaeadr flock of Suffolks, but it’s their son, Mark, who’s making headlines at the moment as a finalist in the TV show Eurovision – Your Country Needs You.

If Mark is victorious on the live BBC1 show, in which Andrew Lloyd Webber is a judge, he’ll then represent the UK in the Eurovision song contest in Russia in May.

Speaking to Farmers Weekly, Sue said Mark was making a flying visit back to the farm for the composer’s visit, then he’d be returning to London for the competition finale.

As for her and hubbie Myfyr? “We’ve been cleaning up the yard in readiness for Andrew Lloyd Webber’s visit,” she said.
