Farming Sunday returns to viewers’ screens this Sunday.
The fifth series will run until 2nd November, producer Alan Powell confirmed.
“We’ve got a packed schedule this series with plenty of interesting features to whet the appetite of farmers across the UK,” he told Farmers Weekly, the show’s official partner.
The first programme features a look at Assured Food Standards and a report by Farmers Weekly online editor Julian Gairdner from the Dairy Event and Livestock Show on challenges affecting livestock farmers this winter.
“But there’s plenty more,” says Mr Powell. “Viewers will get a look at the new 370hp MF 8690 tractor, find out how to maximise tractor fuel efficiency, and hear about ways to save money on fertiliser costs with nutrient injection. Plus we’ve an overview of current and future cereal market trends and a look at the spring barley market.”
Farming Sunday can be seen on Sky digital channel 280 – Horse and Country TV – at 11.30am, and is available exclusively on line here on Farmers Weekly Interactive.
