Five EDMs laid by shadow farm minister

TORY MP James Paice has laid five Early Day Motions on farming issues including TB, milk prices and the origins of the foot-and-mouth crisis.

Mr Paice, the shadow agriculture minister, has put forward an EDM which says the government’s failure to submit the video taken at Burnside Farm to the Anderson inquiry “seriously undermines its claim to want to uncover the truth behind the F&M outbreak”.

One of his other EDMs suggests that any further delay in taking action against bovine TB would be unacceptable.
