Whether it’s a staff issue, a breakdown or a simple mistake that might have far-reaching consequences, harvest is bound to throw out some practical farm management challenges.

So, to help readers prepare this year, Farmers Weekly has put together an expert panel from our Business Clinic partners.

In our Harvest Advice webinar on 12 June, consultant Tom Brunt of Savills, lawyer Natalie Ward of Thrings and accountant Lisa Oliver from Hazlewoods will pack the programme with useful information and tips, as well as answering harvest questions sent in by readers.

They will cover a wide range of day-to-day farm management and legal issues.

These include how best to deploy people and machines, grain storage and marketing considerations as well as checks that need to be made in many areas.

Some tax and financial matters that might need consideration around harvest time will also be explained.

Registration for the webinar is free, and once you have registered to watch the webinar you can submit legal, farm management and accounting questions to the panel.

Harvest Advice will be broadcast at 7pm on 12 June but if you’re not able to watch at the broadcast time, the webinar will be available to stream afterwards.

Sign up for the webinar at on the Farmers Weekly harvest advice webinar registration page.
