Grain markets are steady as farmers concentrate on field work and buyers continue to be fairly well covered pre-Christmas. Spot feed wheat firmed by just 20p/t on the week, to average £135.90/t ex-farm, with some buying demand for immediate movement but little interest further forward, said traders. New crop trade was also extremely limited, with November 2018 values pegged at about £140/t, depending on location.
