Industry responds

farmers weeklys campaign to "Stamp Out Scab" is attracting widespread support from the industry.

The campaign, launched at the Royal Welsh Show, calls on MAFF to re-introduce sheep scab on to the notifiable diseases list. It also supports recommendations from the Farm Animal Welfare Council to introduce compulsory treatment and movement restrictions to control the disease.
