Kuhn has launched two new mounted mowers aimed at farmers and contractors requiring high output machines.

The firm’s GMD range has been bolstered by the addition of two new models – the 4010 and 4410 disc mowers – which offer 4m and 4.4m working widths respectively.

Kuhn claims that the GMD 4410 is the largest mounted mower on the UK market and offers the potential – when combined with a 3m front-mounted machine – to cut over 7m in one pass.

Equipped with the firm’s integrated hydraulic linkage, which enables the cutter deck to be lifted out of work to a clearance of 40cm without lifting the three-point hitch, the units are centrally articulated for improved ground clearance according to the firm.

Break-back control, which is designed to minimise the risk of damage in the event of hitting an obstacle, is also included.

The GMD 4010 has a retail price of £9050 and the GMD 4410 costs £9933.
