ST MERRYN FOODS has launched a new package for its beef producer club members, enabling them to lower costs and improve output.

The package includes free advice from feed specialist Keenan, grading advisory days, processing plant tours and special terms on selected farm inputs.

John Dracup, producer club manager, said prices for meat would be consistently competitive and transparent, boosting members‘ confidence post the mid-term review.

“We believe there is a major opportunity for Total Mixed Rations to improve efficiency in the beef industry,” he said.

“Farmers who produce quality beef in an efficient, low cost way have a bright future.”
