Savills has reduced the price for the 187-acre Dingers Hollow Farm from £975,000 to £750,000.

This Peak District hill farm is being sold jointly with Frank Marshall and is at Wildboarclough, Macclesfield, Cheshire.

The farm sits mainly in a ring fence, with permanent in-bye pasture and moorland, and is a receivership sale. Its four-bedroom stone farmhouse, built in 1982, carries an agricultural occupancy restriction and needs some refurbishment.

A compact range of traditional and modern general-purpose buildings sits with the farmhouse. These are stone or steel portal and block-built, with two traditional barns, two general-purpose stock sheds and a general-purpose building and store.

The traditional buildings have been partially converted to workshop space and storage, while some of the modern buildings need to be completed.

Two Surrey grassland farms have also seen price reductions. Originally launched late in 2013, Buttons Mead Farm and Edolphs Farm are both in Surrey and their prices reflect significant residential and other elements aside from their underlying agricultural values.

Each offers more than 100 acres and extensive buildings. Buttons Mead Farm at Lingfield has 137 acres of grassland with mature woodland and was on the market for £2.25m. Strutt & Parker is now asking £1.975m.

It has a six-bedroom farmhouse with modern agricultural and equestrian buildings. These include a workshop, stables, barn, general-purpose building, manège and school. The Grade 3 land is ring-fenced and most fields have water.

Further west, Edolphs Farm at Charlwood has alternative income from office and light industrial lets. This 154-acre holding is lotted two ways and has a Grade II listed seven-bedroom house, extensive buildings, office lets, stables and a bungalow. The land is Grade 3 and 4 on Denchworth series soils (fine loam over clayey soil).

Edolphs Farm is reduced from £3.75m to £3.395m.
