The chance to buy land in Hampshire comes rarely enough. The chance to buy almost 1,000 acres, two-thirds of which is good arable land, is probably once in a generation.

The land is fertile chalky loam, capable of producing good yields, says Richard Nocton of selling agent Woolley & Wallis.

Its mixed broadleaf and conifer woodland forms part of the ancient Micheldever Forest.
