Red diesel prices have risen steadily over recent weeks.
Last Wednesday (24 March) spot rates stood at 52p/litre, some 6p higher than six weeks previously.
According to West Midlands fuel supplier Jim Callow, much of the increase was down to the strengthening pound.
But what are you seeing at a farm-gate level?
Our Inputs Price Monitor tracks the costs of inputs but requires your contribution. It provides a useful snapshot of current costs by assimilating data from farms that provide details of recent expenditure.
It’s anonymous and only takes five minutes to complete – visit www.fwi.co.uk/nfu-IPM.
March’s results will be published in 9 April issue of Farmers Weekly.
