More than 116,000 SPS claim forms and guidance notes have been sent out to English farmers and growers, and there is just one month left to get them back to the Rural Payments Agency.
Practical details of claiming the single farm payment
From an entitlements perspective all that is needed for activation is eligible land. It does not matter if that land is part of a field, as long as no one else claims on it.
The Rural Payments Agency will be accepting the electronic submission of Single Payment Scheme forms via the Government Gateway for the first time in 2008.
