The Sentry conference 2009

How do you budget for the future when prices of inputs and outputs can double or halve in just a few months?

This is just one of the questions being tackled at this year’s Sentry Conference in Cambridgeshire on 4 February.

International speakers whose experience of food production extends around the world will tackle the issues. Scientists with a clear understanding of climatic implications, potential production possibilities, and the growing demand for futuristic uses of farm crops in industry will share their experience. And one of the top people in UK food retailing will assess future availability of adequate supplies.

The conference is already a key date in the diary for many farmers and professional advisers, who benefit from networking opportunities and the challenging and lively discussion.

This intensive one-day conference should not be missed by anyone wishing to clarify their own perceptions of the future. Those fortunate enough to be there will return home with an enlightened view of a complex situation.
