Tractor sales slumped by almost a quarter during October 2017, compared with a year ago, according to figures from the Agricultural Engineers Association (AEA). The AEA says the number of new tractor registrations during October 2017 was 23.4% lower than during October 2016. However, Stephen Howarth, AEA agricultural economist, pointed out this fall had been anticipated.
