Farmers delivered a strong call for a fairer deal on milk prices as they gathered in London for an emergency summit on Wednesday afternoon (11 July).

Attendance for the meeting exceeded all expectations with more than 2,500 farmers turning up to listen to NFU deputy president Meurig Raymond, DEFRA minister Jim Paice and Farmers For Action chairman David Handley.

Farmers Weekly’s Rachel Jones was there to ask attendees what they were hoping would be achieved.
