A young farmer is being sought to take over a 47-acre mixed farm near Wick, Caithness, Scotland.
Bill Hazell, the current farmer, is selling up due to ill-health.
“I’d definitely like to see it go to a younger person – it’s a peaceful way of life [here] and I’ve kept cattle, sheep and pigs over the years,” said Mr Hazell.
The farm has sea views and includes a house, feed store, cattle sheds, silage pit and implement shed. The land is a mix of arable and grassland with some rough grazing.
It is for sale at a guide price of £249,950 including SPS entitlements. (Rural & Equestrian 01553 618 834)
