Young farmers pose starkers for calendar

A group of Irish farmers have slipped into their birthday suits to raise money for a charity promoting cancer awareness in men.

The farmers from counties Sligo and Fermanagh bared all for the cameras earlier in the year, posing next to tractors, bales of hay, harvesters and other farm props

The 2006 “Boys and their Toys” calendar was dreamed up by the Ulster Young Farmers and their Irish counterparts in Sligo.

They want to raise awareness of common cancers among men and encourage them to visit their GP for regular check ups

The proceeds of calendar sales will be split between the Ulster Cancer Foundation and the Irish Cancer Society.
