About the dealership

Ireland's Farm Machinery was set up by Jonathan & Fiona Ireland in August 1994, and has since become a limited company. The Machinery Register was originally sent out to a customer base of just over 1,000 farmers and has since grown to 2,500, most of whom are in Lincolnshire. The majority of the items for sale are in Lincolnshire and have therefore come off arable units, most of them having been carefully looked after and very well maintained. This Register has proved to be a very successful system, and with many farms changing their farming policies over the past few years, it has meant that farmers have been able to release much needed funds otherwise tied up in redundant farm machinery & equipment.

In 1994 Jonathan set up a tractor & implement hire business with John Saul of Leverton, the company being A.J. Saul Hire. This hire business which started off with 10 units has now increased to over 50 units and has a fleet of John Deere tractors, Bailey Trailers, as well as many other machines & cultivation equipment.
