Heifers failing to go in calf.

Visited a client in County Kerry today. He presented a group of in calf heifers which had just returned from an outside farm. The heifers were all of an inadequate size. They had failed to go in calf early in the breeding season. These heifers were badly managed on the outside farm. This will have a consequential effects on longevity and milk production capacity.
