• Birds signing and no sign of the farmer!

  Morning rise and time, today was down today to a client in County Kerry. When we arrived on the farm, we could hear the birds signing and nothing else. • Herd split for feeding

  On a farm in county Cork yesterday. The herd is split for feeding purposes. One batch are fed before milking and the remainder are fed after milking. The pregnancy rate in the group that was fed first was far greater than those fed in the second batch... • Pre breeding and post breeding scan

  Visited a farm outside Listowel, Co Kerry this evening where we had a pre-scan implemented 7 weeks ago just as the breeding season began. Today we had a pregnancy scan on the same herd which included late calving cows on a pre-scan. All cows had calved...
