It kept going for years.&lt;/p&gt;

Followed a very hesitant UK truck today as he made his way along, I hope he had a special permit as he did not queue up as usual. The UK and US look pretty poor economies from here. Russia and the Euro zone seem to be doing pretty well, fuel is not very expensive at 1.30Eur a litre and shop prices are similar for clothes and less for food. The local markets are full of good fresh veg, all they need to make it perfect would be some good Scottish beef,&lt;/p&gt;

Farmers are not at all like any of the scenarios outlined,( they are not all white mono cultural old men either) in fact we got past most of the stuff discussed 10 years ago. Maybe its time someone from there &amp;nbsp;read what goes on here and learns something about the rural areas from the real experts, farmers.&lt;/p&gt;
