I would!
I see that in the papers they say we should stop eating meat and though I have little understanding of it I must say that I will never give up meat, I would starve!
It's the way that nature is, if we were never intended to eat meat we would not be omnivores! The only reason they tell us to give up meat is because they don't want to give up their jercuzzis (spelling?) and designer clothing. It's Stupid!
And even if meat becomes rare and only available as pets then I WILL resort to cannibalism and I WILL personally eat the person responsible for it all!

Finally, Half term!
This has been the first opportunity I've had to sit and type for a few weeks, sorry. School's been crazy and then there's bush beating at the weekends. Argh! I'm still really tired, but I got an hour extra of sleep last night, thank goodness!
I had my first Shoot of the season two weeks ago and my 2nd yesterday, so I'm still feeling really achey and yesterday it tipped it down untill we all packed up, then the sky turned blue and the sun came out! Ugh. Pippin ( our dog) did well in her beating too. She's only done it 3 times now and she's getting better, even though she is a cavalier KC spaniel she's a lot better behaved than the other proper gundogs! Ha ha! Although she can't pick birds up, she hasn't figured out that you grab the body of the bird, not just the feathers...
As Autumn is now here we're sending some of the Lambs to the butchers in the next week or two, and we are taking ram lamb (called Brian who escaped the elastic band treatment when he was young) to market as a tup, probably won't get much money for him though.
I'm also getting in on the halloween spirit too this year, I can't go trick or treating any more, I'd scare the locals as I'm a teenager and want to stab anyone in the street near me. (
) So I'm going to my friend halloween party tomorrow which should be good.
The Sturton Show was great! I entered nine classes and got two firsts, three thirds and two highly commendeds which I didn't think I'd get to tell the truth.

On Saturday it's the 122nd Annual Sturton show which I am entering a few classes in, mostly crafty kind of stuff, but still I can't wait to be going because it's the biggest event in the villages' calendar and it's great fun to enter. The atmostphere is always nice and there's so much going on all of the time! I'm trying to win the same trophy that I won last year again ( beacause my friend has won it twice before and I want to beat her.
) so wish me luck!
