Plans underway
Our plans for the event are very much underway. We are currently putting together the layout schedule for more than 250 exhibitors, and this year is proving a new challenge with a higher number booking outdoor stands.
Entries are coming in for the Young Shepherd of the Year award not only from throughout the UK, but also from across the Channel - we've had some real interest from four French students. We really enjoy putting together this feature; while it's quite a challenge getting together sufficient volunteers to help organise and manage the pentathlon of events, this award is one of NSA's ways of demonstrating its commitment to the next generation.
We've also had a great response to the Tornado Wire Fencer of the Year award. We've had entries from professional contractors from throughout the UK who are keen pit their skills for silverware and for the £3,000 prize fund.
Entries are also starting to trickle in for the fleece competition. The 2 July deadline seems some way off, however I know how really fast time flies, so we'd appreciate receiving your entries at the earliest.
