George’s trailer time

“George is rather pleased with the fodder beet yield this year, but thinks he will have to invest in a bigger trailer,” jokes mum Bridget Slade, who lives on a farm near Outwell, in the Fens.

The picture was taken just before the two-and-a-half-year-old was taken to nursery one morning.

“Usually, he wears a tiny hi-vis vest because I’m conscious of his safety on the farm. But, that day, no one was working on the yard yet, so he is in his school uniform,” adds Bridget.
