has anybody any experience with spreader plates on khun 300g mower. ie are they worth fitting and do they improve grass wilting and can you alter row width

We've got a new Kuhn 300 centre pivot mower, we tried putting the spreader plates in the back, but with not much joy-lump after lump in a heavy swarth. Other than that, I'm quite pleased with the mower- centre pivot is excellent, so easy on the following machines as theres no more short work

We have spreader plates on our Krone, and I beleive it makes a great deal of difference to the spead of wilting in the swath. Nick
