Anyone know what disease this could be in sheep?

Ive got a few lambs with pink markings around the eyes, almost in a circle. It's looks like the skin has been burned. Some also have it on the top of their head and some have red cuts/scabs below the eyes and below the nose.

    Thanks.

Doesn't sound very nice, I should wear disposable gloves when handling it.

Perhaps orf? perhaps eating something that bites back like thistles? hopefully not scab

A vet job if there are many I reckon

Fully agree with concreter, and as an addition it could be photosensitisation as a result of eating any one of several plants. I think buttercups can do it for instance, but probably not at this time of year.

To me it sounds like a bacterial infection ,that went through some of our sheep about 25 years ago, spread by sheep troughs and feeders. No real harm done, a good dose of streptopen put it right. I have a feeling it was a Staphylcoccus bug. Something like that, my spelling is probably way off.
