We are developing an exciting new series for BBC1 that follows families who are thinking of building a new home for a family member at the bottom of their garden. Whether creating a new space for children who can’t get onto the property ladder, or a new home to have elderly parents nearby, the series wants you. Each episode will follow the action from conception to completion and the presenter, a self-build expert, will be on hand to offer advice and help at every stage of the journey.
