    Barley Fungicides

Whilst letting the dog out for a bit I've seen quite a lot of winter barley in ear now or not far away,  mother nature has put the pedal to the metal now.

anyone got some late second fung on barleys to get on ? . I got told the otherday we cant use Clorothanolil after ear emergence, what else can i use cheaply to look after me brown spots on the leaf

Zephyr at full rate once ears fully emerged going on here. Had the same on for first fungicide and so we have half a pot left. Dont know how cheap it is but will do the job.

zephyr contains prothioconazole,  probably the best triazole for barley disease control, so prob not cheap but will do a bloody good job also a good strob to boot, so you get your greening + rust control . - nice product.
