    Breathe Email Problems

    We are having problems with our fwi email with Breathe, it will not recognise username or password. Who should I contact about this? 

    I know they sometimes have technical problems, is anyone else experiencing difficulties?

    Any help greatly appreciated!

    We have been trying to establish with Breathe what is going on. There are some server changes which need to be made apparently and we are trying to establish what exactly needs doing.

    We are giving this the highest priority.

    Same here and site has changed from Breath to Homemaster so what is going on?

    I understand customers are being told by Breathe that it is Farmers Weekly's fault that your email and internet is not working.

    Can I be quite clear that this is not the case.

    We have had enormous difficulty in establishing from Breathe what the problems are and what action needs to be taken over the past week.

    My I.S. department are working flat out at the moment to try and implement some changes Breathe have asked to be made to the domains but we are still awaiting full details and instructions from Breathe as their instructions to date are incomplete.

    It is not reasonable for Breathe to lay the blame at our door when this is work they have given no notice about and failed to instruct properly. As always, it is you customers who suffer but I will not accept their help desk saying it is Farmers Weekly's fault.

    In thg meantime we are giving this the highest priority and I can only apologise for the inconvenience this is causing you.

    The email I recieved this morning tends to suggest that Breathe is in financial dispute with Spider Network....I have managed to send and recieve some emails today -  very slowly...! None of the telephone numbers get you anywhere (unless it is a premium rate 60p/minute) but that is not a suprise because the Breathe back-up has always left a lot to be desired.. I would change but do not want to loose my email address..!

    Now not getting a page to log in for web mail ,nothing coming through to outlook and I know there shoud be especially a conformation of a council tax payment . I do not want to loose my email address .

    There is nothing on the Breathe webmail can't even get onto it..we are re-directed to the new fwi webmail page which is blank except for a test email I sent myself.....Everything seems to be ok (but slow) on Outlook Express...

    So does that mean you can get your email to work when using your Outlook Express, but if you try to access it via webmail it doesn't work? Just need to be clear so I can put the pressure on and get some answers to your queries.

    Does not work on webmail at all and very little coming on outlook but I have been able to send one.

    Ok, current position as I understand it.

    1. Breathe webmail page does not seem to be working. Once this is up and running you should be able to re-start sending and receiving emilas via your existing fwi.co.uk or farmersweekly.net email address. However I am yet to establish whether you will be able to view your email history or address book. Waiting for Breathe to come back to me on that one

    2. In the meantime, Spider Networks have set up a webmail page where you can access you r email history and address book and where you can send emails from BUT you should note that any emails you send will be from a new email address, not your old one.

    To access the Spider networks webmail page then you should go to:

    a) for fwi.co.uk email users it's http://fwionline.co.uk

    b) for farmersweekly.net email users it's http://farmersweeklyworld.net

    On entering the page you should have in front of you the interface you used to have and can use your old username and password.

    3. For those using the Spider networks webmail page(s), please note that within the next 24 hours the suffixes will be changed asfollows:

    a) farmersweeklyworld.net will change to youragricultural.net

    b) fwionline.co.uk will change to youragricultural.co.uk

    That's it for now. In the meantime I am still chasing Breathe for more clarity on unresolved issues.

    Significant e-mail problems since yesterday, today only a few of my incoming e mails getting through why are some getting through and others are not is beyond, me  this inconsistency is extremely  annoying , in some ways its worse than if none at all were getting through.

    I have managed to log in to the Breathe Webmail but there is nothing at all there except a blank page - no emails, contacts etc.

    Unable to get any emails or view history etc on Breathe also unable to receive emails on outlook which was my preferred option. I do not want to have to start changing adresses once again especially when my contacts have disappeared aswell.

    Pleasant e mail from breathe this morning, everything now appears to be working fine

    8am, have received e-mails sent yesterday including test messages sent to myself

    Nothing changed odd ones coming on outlook nothing on web. One from Breathe:-

    large majority of our long term customer base did not find the old 
    interface very customer friendly and a bit slow too use.
    To combat this we have polled our customer base to see what they

    everyday tools to make your life easier, simpler and faster.

    We are therefore currently building one of the most advanced email 
    platforms for you to use soon.

    Unfortunately we have today received an email that has been sent to 
    you trying to solicit you to 'BreatheWorld.com'
    This is not from the Breathe team and therefore a security risk for 
    you if you do go there and log in.
    Please simply delete this email if you have already collected it and 
    do not click on the link enclosed.

    I am sure customers will appreciate the post below which is a copy of Breathe's email to customers.

    However, I am still trying to find out from Breathe whether customers who access the new platform via webmail (i.e. not using Outlook or similar) will be able to see their email history, address books etc?

    Do you use Outlook to access your emails or do you log in to a webmail page?

    If it's the latter, can you see your email history/ address books or has that been wiped?

    Managed to log on using usual user and password from Breathe site but no history or adresses and very slow. Just a few coming onto outllook .Will soon have to go somewhere else perhaps Google. Any suggestions?

    Just had this from Breathe:

    The servers are unfortunately still running slow although the team are working on putting new provisions in place to make the service far more resilient. We hope this will be resolved in the next few days.

    I'm still waiting to hear about email history and address books...

    I seem to have got mail dated from 20th July onwards but some have gone missing between 16th and 20th as I was expecting mail during that period but none has come through.  What is the advice do we go with Spider or stick with Breathe who seem to have major hiccups in their system fairly regularly!  I would really like to preserve our email address for business purposes but on the other hand want a reliable service.  I have had the same message from Breathe and now don't know what to do for the best! Very Frustrated.

    I cannot advise you on the best course.

    All I can say is that the facts at the moment (but I'm still awaiting Breathe to confirm this) seem to be that if you go with Spider you can access your old emails and address book but you will be moved onto a new email address.

    If you stay with Breathe you can continue with your existing email address but you will not be able to access your old emails and address book via webmail which, as I understand it, are sitting on the Spider platform.

    Getting e-mails through although the system seems slow but at least I do not have to change my email address which would nearly be as bad as having to change my mobile number.
