    David Brown 780 Loader problems

    I have a David Brown 780 without a loader

i have just bought a power loader off a david brown 880 including all the brakets and oil fittings.I got the loader brakets home today and tried fitting them to my 780,anoyingly they do not fit,i had been told by several people that the 780 is the lightweight version of the 880 and there was no reason why they shouldnt fit.

My brother and i were thinking of drilling new holes in the brakets to fit the 780 but i am considering weather selling or swapping them for a 780 pair would be a better idea.

could anyone help with advise or what a tidy pair of brakets would be worth?

just drill them, its unlikely you will be able to find the right brackets

Yup,,, just drill & fit.. Just be sure to get it in the right place, you don't want the cross tube sat on the bonnet eh..

I found a pair of brackets that fit, cost me a a bit more though,

The loader is now on and works,1 seal needs replacing and the ram for the bucket is rather slow and there is not much power in it when the bucket has any load in it,i recon the oil may be a bit low, anyother ideas would be aprechiated

Mid seal needs replacing or the ram is not big enough

Have you changed the oil filter?

It wont be very quick, even on a good day.

If the above seal doesn't give a fix, check the pressure from the pump.
