Has anyone received any maps from the RDS after applying to join the scheme. I applied on the first day that applications opened and was told that they were having trouble printing the maps but should have them before the weekend, (not sure which week end they meant now!) There also seems to be much confusion about maps from other comments on this forum. I have been told that we will now receive maps every year! This does seem an awful waste of paper and admin resources if the area of land farmed does not change appreciably.

Can't you have the maps sent digitally? i thought you could do it over the internet.

Not yet - they told me to call back early-mid april to get my PIN number for digi maps

Has anyone received any maps or been able to access the internet site. Is the ELS a dead duck because without the maps you cannot enter it!!!

They told me when I asked for the ELS pack that they supply the maps. She even joked that that they'd provide the coloured pencils too ...... or did she mean the bit about providing the maps was part of the joke too?!!!

We just got sent a set of digital maps yesterday - seem to be correct too! Only we aren't eligible for ELS as we're in a (similar) National Park scheme already.

I got the pencils, no maps:)
