I think there's a Stondon Massey collective sale next Monday, near Ongar in Essex. They've gone a bit builder-y rather than farming, but there's loads of tools. Look up www.theauctioneer.co.uk I think.

I know there's one at Appledore, Kent on about 1st May. The auctioneers are Hobbs Parker at Ashford market, and I also know they have several other farm sales in the pipeline.  They do have collective sales at the market every so often too, and you can possibly find tools etc there. Hope this helps, Sally

It would pay to speak to Hobbs about it but I believe if there aren't any chicken things at the Appledore sale there is at the Canterbury one later on Smile

Yes, Hobbs Parker Collective Machinery sales are brilliant.  The next one is at Ashford Market (regular venue) on the 28th May.  You can normally view lots from 08.30 hours and auction starts at 10am.  They have selections of new tools (very reasonable usually) plus all sorts of miscellaneous lots, smallholders items, timber and plants.  I can recommend the cafe to - very nice breakfasts!
