    Farmers and dating

I did try Isabels advice to use muddymatches but a couple of months down the line and not much luck, another friend advised using the advice site ukbestdatingsites.co.uk which has thrown up some other places to try, so it's back to square one if i sign up to a new site, any other recommendations appreciated. Smile

A lot of people say that Young Farmers is  a bit like an unofficial dating agency (although I'm obviously not sure of your age - you'd need to be 26 or under to join).

That's no good for me then, it'll have to be back to goldenmatchdating as it's one of the few places that still takes in old buggers with hair growing out of their ears and nostrels!!

Try country-couples.co.uk   more of a friendship site but there,s been a few happy couples met on the site and age is no bar.

Thanks for the tip cavey, but plummed for smittendating.co.uk in the end a few days back, so i'll stick with this one for a while to see how it goes as they look a big mainstream outfit with over 2 million members, and i don't want to double up on the costs. But who knows i may try that one you mentioned some other time if need be, cheers.

A a female who's been 'dating' an older (60s) farmer, I would just like to say... you will get out of it what you put in.  My 'other half' seems to think that he needs to make no effort at all, and just lately I feel very much taken for granted. Please... when you find the right one, always appreciate her and make her feel appreciated. Otherwise you will have wasted your time and hers, and at our age that's a shame.

Do I sound bitter? Sorry... all the best, and be lucky.

i'll do my best, so thanks, you don't sound bitter, just maybe could do with a younger model, so have a go at "grabagrannydating.co.uk" as they specialise in younger guys who prefer the more mature experienced lady ! Big Smile

I think Long John could be a Village Perv or Man looking for vulnerable women [ meaning women that are looking for what they want]. Good luck Long John and I think I have you twigged! How is the Isle of Man.

to the burocrat basher, i heartily recommend the newly enhanced "wantaquickie" dating site for you, as the women won't stick around for long when they get to hear some of your sour wit, with some effort you could become the local tart
