No, i think you are compensated for leaving the margin.
The margins amongst other things are left for environmental benefit and the farmers is encouraged to do this by offering him money. Or is he paid for the loss of production.
Perhaps yoness and her badger buddies could push for payments to leave badgers/bagder setts undisturbed. I suggest £10,000 per set would be appropriate, the nfbg could put their money where there mouth is.
I would still rather have my cattle though!
